Generation Z make up the biggest demographic of content consumers and the fact remains that they mostly enjoy watching short videos and clips. We at Mic Up believe that the shorter and more engaging your content is, the likelier people will consume and enjoy your content more! A study by Microsoft concluded that the human attention span has dropped to eight seconds – shrinking nearly 25% in just a few years! Content creators need to be aware of this statistic, so that they can get the best out of the content that they make.

3. You can easily watch these videos, because they are short. Due to these videos being short, you can easily view these videos as pop-ups, even if you are watching something else. This is convenient for the consumer and provides them with a steady stream of engaging content that doesn't last long. If someone gets bored with a video, they can simply click the Shorts icon and watch shorter videos!
